Building upon the stories and experiences that were shared during the March 13 Storytelling Workshop with Dr. Ada Cheng, this follow-up Show Case features several individuals who participated in the original workshop and worked with Dr. Cheng to fine tune their stories to share with the public.

An educator-turned artist, storyteller, and creator, Dr. Ada Cheng has utilized storytelling to illustrate structural inequities, raise critical awareness, and build intimate communities.

This event is is part of Arts in Action, a joint initiative from the DeKalb County History Center and Ellwood House Museum to tell a more inclusive and accurate account of DeKalb County’s history. This project is generously funded by Healing Illinois.
